A first time for everything!

Good morning and thank you for taking the time to visit me in my little crafty corner. It has certainly been a week of firsts for me , I won my first challenge, I am doing my first design team card and this is my first ever blog post. Earlier this week I was given the fab opportunity to have a Guest Designer spot with Here Come The Boys, my first ever. Once I had gotten over the OMG's and the Aaaargh what am I gonna do?'s, I scuttled up to my little craft room and here's what I came up with. I don't really know where the inspiration for this card came from, what I do know is when I was making it, the weather was doing what it does best ................... raining, so this card has a Autumnal feel even though we are in July. 

I have used my favourite boy on my tag, Edwin with Stolen Heart, although the heart  is missing. The background paper was from my stash. I cut the fence from a Cheery Lynn die and the tree is a Memory box die. The leaves across the top are from a  Spellbinders die set, Floral Flourishes.

 The fence and tree have been coloured using my brushes with Distress inks : walnut stain, vintage photo, pine needles & forest moss.
